Beginner's Workshops - Start Here!

All students who are new to our program start with a Beginner's Workshop. This stand alone 2 hour class teaches the basics of a sewing machine and students complete a small project to take home. All materials are provided!

Sewing School Classes

Once students complete a Beginner’s Workshop, they’re ready to join a Sewing School Session. Each session runs for six weeks, and we offer six sessions throughout the school year. Classes are 75 minutes long.

Our curriculum is divided into four levels, with six units in each level. No matter what time of the year they start, students begin at Level 1, Unit 1, and work their way forward as they attend sessions. Because the program is self-paced, students can take breaks when needed—for example, if they skip a session to accommodate another activity, they simply pick up right where they left off at their next session. Each Level takes a year to complete.
